2. a separate brigade of special purpose[/heading]


The brigade has about 960 members, works since 1963. In the years 1985-1989 deployment in Afghanistan. In 1995 in Chechnya. In the second chechen war has been deployed in the years 1999-2006.

Up to the mid 90's. years were part of the unit OSNAZ: center intercepts (CRP) and radiovyhledávání point (RPP).

Afghanistan:

In the years 1985-89 177. ooSpN crafted in 22. OBrSpN, Kapčagai. 15. obrSpN participated in combat operations in Afghanistan. Dislocation - Gazni. For courage and valor in the performance of military service in the republic of Afghanistan, was 177. ooSpN awarded the medal of the Central committee of the VLKSM Military valor and an honorary Red banner of the NDPA.

Part of the section were imposed by the board with the names of the fallen in Afghanistan, when dissolved 177. ooSpN located in the former base Pašnoj / Tajbola in the Murmansk region (78 km south from Murmansk). 2. brigade of special purpose, the successor unit, it was decided to create a single memorial - a rozvědčíkům, who died in Afghanistan and the first war in Chechnya.



Chechnya

1. the chechen war:

On the basis of the brigade create a composite section, from among the separate companies (Tajbola, Petrozavodsk, Pechora).

They were deployed from the 19. January 26. April 1995. They stayed a few days in Mozdoku, then went to the place of permanent location - in Beslan (standing in the vicinity of the airport). In the battles I had surgery 10 days, 20 days were at the base. In Grozny, in Assinovské and Bamutu.

Losses - 2 soldiers:

1. the older ensign Joseph Mjačeslavovič Gluškeviš. He died 27.3.1995, in the performance of combat tasks, in the county of Zakan-Yurts, Samaški, in the fight he had a fatal injury.

2. senior warrant officer Nikolai Jakovlevič Rabčenjuk. He died 16.4.1995, in the explosion of the APC.

3. Jefrejtor (pfc) Sergei Mikhailovich Michalev. (Transferred to another unit,in which he died).


2. the chechen war:

In August 1999, he was a combined section moved to the North Caucasus on a business trip. The first struggles took part in Dagestan, and in September 1999 on the territory of Chechnya.

2. OBrSpN in Chechnya, was presented a composite section: one company - 70. ooSpN, one of the company 700. ooSpN, one company of the 329. ooSpN and command, automotive platoon, communications. 19. September 2006 was a folded section 2. OBrSpN shunted from the location of Dacha-Borzoi on your base.



21.2.2000 in Chechnya in the battle of Šatoje in an ambush, was killed 25 soldiers and officers of the folded section 2. OBrSpN and 8 allocated to the engineers and artillery battery, a total of 33 people.
3 received the posthumous order of Hero of Russia and 2 people ambush the survivors.
