a little of the history of the gun

Manufacturer Ansaldo

At the end of 30 years Iitalové decide your zastarávájící artillery park significantly upgraded most of the used heavy works in particular howitzer to include the period before WWI. These guns were heavy and very bulky.
The Italian army opted for the design of advanced weapons based on the caliber of 149 mm and a caliber of 210 mm.
The Italian ground forces have received for the tests from the company State houfnici about the caliber of 210mm. During the tests, the howitzer to comply with the requirements of the Italian army and was taken into the arms of the under the name Obice da 210/22 modello 35.
The weapon was in service is taken while already in 1935, but the company Anseldo with the production somehow take its time, in 1938 they were ordered, 346 ks.
A gun-carriage of the weapon was for its time, dealt in a very modern, on each side of cannon, two wheels, two rozevíratelné retaining shoulders, when using the lafetového plates, was the delivery of the cannon 360°( shoulders had to be slightly raised above the terrain).

These howitzers bought at the expense of supplies to the domestic army of Hungary
in exchange for raw materials and food.
