Georgian border police lost a helicopter Mil Mi-8MTV-1 reg. GBP-10005, which crashed in Gudauri . All 8 people on board perished. The helicopter was on a rescue mission for a paraglider pilot. The machine struck a rock with its tail rotor, began spinning on its axis and eventually crashed.
