The Dutch submarine HNMS K-XVI, which sunk 24.12.1941 in Sarawak torpedo the japanese destroyer Sagiri, who was part of the cover of the union when the japanese invade British Borneo. The torpedo struck the ship in the storage area depth charges on the port side. After the huge explosion of the ship nearly broke and within 15 minutes had sunk. 121 men and officers were killed.
