The badge was approved on 1.12.1945. The main part is the "Sosenka" - the emblem of 3 Dywizji Strzelców Karpackich which is placed on the Krzyż Pamiątkowy Monte Cassino .


It is made of white metal and fastened with a screw on the back.


It is worn on the left pocket of the uniform - see: Artilleryman of the 3rd Carpathian Division
