300 Weatherby Magnum

A powerful American hunting cartridge introduced in 1948. The 11.66 g bullet has a muzzle velocity of 972 m/sec. The bullet pictured was manufactured by Federal Cartridge Corp. of Anoka, Minnesota USA, the bullet on the right is a 7.92 x 57, photo by the author.
