303 Magnum


English sporting cartridge from 1919, used for long range shooting. The cartridge has a groove and rim, is 3.5 mm longer and has a larger diameter. The bullet was not manufactured outside England and production ceased in 1930. The 11.2 g projectile has a muzzle velocity of 930 m/sec, on the right is the 7.92 x 57 bullet.
