4. donskoy cossack regiment

The regiment is a direct successor to the turn of the 18th. and 19. century resulting from the Donského cossack Žirovova regiment, in the year 1835 transformed the Donskoy cossack regiment no. 22, and in 1875 was renamed Donskoy cossack regiment no. 4.

His team is rekrutovalo of the cossack stations Ilovlinské, Sirotinské, Trechostravjanské, Kačalinské, Golubinské, Pjatiizvjanské, Věrchněčirské of 2. donského circuit, the starting point Kačalinskaja. With these stations in case of war to mobilize in other challenges as well as 21. donskoy cossack regiment (26 to 29 flies the cossacks) and 38. donskoy cossack regiment (30-33 years), 17. donskou separate cossack company, and 18. donskou separate cossack company.


Regimental battalions were with the inscriptions "For the great courage and defeat the enemy in a Patriotic war of 1812" and "great heroism in the defeat of the enemy" and "4.D Count Plato".
