Body material system vz. # 283; 1863

Due to better use of gas energy, In the first half of the 19th century, constellation was solved in the main 19th century. in the main. This has been solved by plastic deformation of the lead shell in the case of the charged closures (e.g. the Wahrendorf system). st & # 345; ely.
This method could not be used for main charged charges. When charging the main one is unconditionally & # 269; n & # 283; necessary between the table and the bore of the barrel. Expansion rifles have been developed with expansion rifles. compression chairs. This solution was not applicable to heritage. The French La Hitte system, with its trajectories, did not solve this problem much.
In 1862, Baron Lenk of Wolfsberg, the director of the Arsenal Wien armory, designed a wedge. The principle of operation is clear from the pictures taken. Thanks to the size, the bullet can be inserted into the barrel, and after landing on the cartridge, it can be rotated in the direction of the charger with a bayonet lock. The clockwise and wedge surfaces of the table abut the surface of the groove. The roof will melt and only small gaps will remain in the corners of the groove. At the end of the shot, the shot is printed and the groove spread, the persistence of the shot It counteracts the rotational movement and protects it all the time.

The carriage is wall-mounted. The rear joint of the carriage walls carries a steel eye to connect the wheel chain. On the sides of the carriage in this place are handles used to aim the cannon. Horizontal handles facilitate shading. There is a box for the basic supply of ammunition on the carriage, which also serves as an operator's seat. The rear arch of the seat, which serves as a backrest, could be folded down when aiming. The measuring device is operated by a handle located on the side of the carriage. The wooden six-piece wheels are 51 inches in diameter and weigh 121 pounds. The wheels have 12 spokes. The weight of a complete carriage with a full cabinet is 780 pounds.
