6 TK/STZ-24


In 1937, under the direction of a special design experimental section in the factory STZ (Stalingrad Tank Plant) light wheel-belt tank project 6 TK (bearing and designation STZ-24). The construction used parts of the structures from the T-26 tanks and the BT series. The prototype produced underwent tests in 1/1938 and a small prototype series of 25 pieces of this type of tank was planned. Due to many design shortcomings, this project was stopped and the series was not created. Design work continued on its successor STZ-25 (T-25).
