Military cartridge for repeating rifle Mannlicher-Carcano M1891. Several design changes were made to the cartridge during production. From 1895 the primer was secured by a press-fit, from 1900 the cartridge was labored with nitrocellulose powder, and from 1932 the cartridge was labored with a rifling. During the Second World War, the original copper-diron shell was replaced by a steel, tombak-clad shell, and from 1942 the cartridge was steel, painted (until then brass). After World War II, the cartridge was also produced in hunting laboratories.
