History:

In September 1961 she was in the city Jurga founded 791. a separate company SpN, in 1970 it was relocated to the town of Berdsk in the Novosibirsk region. It was located in the complex next to the helicopter base. Thanks to this cooperation between the departments of large cooperation.

15.2.1984 warrant was issued for the creation of 67. separate brigade SpN SibVO, with the number of 350 soldiers. In June of the same year the brigade was formed.

In 1994, the brigade was incorporated into the group of the rapid reaction mobile forces of the Russian federation.

Members of the brigade participated in combat operations in Afghanistan, nagorno-Karabakh and Bosnia.

Day of service: 1. November

From December 1994 to October 1996 the brigade was deployed in the Chechen republic, where she lost in the heavy fighting and in the partial obklíčeních 14 soldiers.

In August 1999, the brigade monitoring in Chechnya, where in the autumn conducted a most successful operation, 12 members of the brigade. When a shootout took down about 70 of the insurgents, anti-aircraft equipment, KAMAZ, and off-road vehicle.

In other battles in the following years, some sections of the brigade revealed the terrorist camps, where they clashed with up to 400 terrorists including Chattaba. The total from the brigade were killed in 2. the chechen war 37 soldiers.

In 2007 was 691. section is withdrawn from Chechnya.

17. in march 2009, the brigade said farewell to the combat banner and was cancelled. During the existence of the brigade received 6 troops the award Hero of Russia.
