Production dvouvěžových tank 7 TP

The individual components were manufactured by the various firms.
Armor plates – hut Pokój in the New Bytom, hut Baildon in Katowice and hut Batory in Hajdukach Wielkich.
Cast articles of belts – Towarzystwo Przemysłowe Zakładów Mechanicznych Lilpop, Rau i Loewenstein in Warsaw.
Radios and fastener – Państwowe Zakłady Tele and Radiotechniczne in Warsaw.
The rubber components of the structure – Zakłady Kauczukowe SA in Piastowie and the company Tschakert i S-ka, Fabryka Uszczelnień into Maszyn in Warsaw.
Optics – Państwowe Zakłady Optyczne in Warsaw
Engines, chassis and the assembly of the tanks were produced and implemented in Państwowych Zakładach Inżynierii in Czechowicach (Ursus) in Warsaw.
Acceptances of the armor carried a special group - the Military technical supervision no. 5 in Chřanově.
The acceptance of complete tanks were conducted by the Military technical supervision no. 3 in Warsaw.

The first prototype of the tank or no 1595 bore the name "frame of the smok" (Dragon) and in November 1936, it was rebuilt in the jednověžový with the used original towers "Bofors".
The second prototype or no 1596 bore the name "Słoń" (Elephant).

The first contract for the production of 22 dvouvěžových tank 7 TP for the armament of one column and the training of crews was awarded to 18. march 1935 ( contract number 655/34-35 Panc.) with the term of delivery to the 25.03.1936.
In the year 1935 were built 4 tanks of this series. The rest of the series was made in 1936.

The second contract (no contract 3/36-37 Panc.) on the production of 16 dvouvěžových tanks for one company was signed 7. (17.?) February 1936 with the term of delivery up to 15. January 1937.
Two tanks remained in dvouvěžovém implementation. During the production of this series was decided on the reconstruction of the 14 pieces on jednověžové. Because of the delayed development of the dvouzbraňové of the tower, however, were made as dvouvěžové and jednověžové were rebuilt only in the year 1938. Date of delivery of this series was shifted to DD.MM.193?.

The total was made:
2 prototype – of which 1 converted to jednověžový
22 tanks 1. series
16 of the tank 2. series – of which 14 tanks rebuilt the jednověžové

15. August 1939 was at the units:
2. the armored battalion – 10 pieces in 2 other-mobilization and 8 school
3. the armored battalion – 7 school
Training center offensive british company bsa manufactured in Modlinu – 8 school
