8. donskoy cossack regiment

In 1835 was formed on the basis of dissolved 3. cossack regiment Djačkina (sform. 1812) as Donskoy cossack regiment no. 3, renamed in 1872 for the Donskoy cossack regiment no. 30, and in 1875, at the Donskoy cossack regiment no. 8.

His team is rekrutovalo of the cossack stations Razdorské, Kočetovské, Nižněkundrjučenské, semikaradské, Jekatěrininské, Ust-Vystrijanské of 1. Donského circuit. The starting point Jekatěrininskaja station. With these stations in case of war to mobilize in other challenges as well as 25. donskoy cossack regiment (26 to 29 flies the cossacks) and 42. donskoy cossack regiment (30-33 years) and further 10. don separate setnina.


Regimental battalions were st. with the words "Courageous donskému kozáckému regiment" and "For bravery in the Turkish war in the years 1877 and 1878".
