Note: IFF mounting makes it impossible to carry the trigger in a holster on the shooter's belt.

One of the users of the PLRK 9K38 Igla is Brazil, which purchased 56 launchers (9P516-1 launchers) and 112 9M39 missiles from Russia in 1994. In 2014, it expressed interest in supplying another 56 launchers and 250 missiles. This contract was signed in September 2015, with the 9K338 Igla-S kits being the subject of the delivery.
