9S729M1 Slepok-1 is a complex of means of an automated rocket launch command system armed with rocket launchers 9K58 Smerč.

ASV consists of universal command and staff vehicles MP32M1 (located on a wheeled chassis KamAZ-43114 with a box body), which are part of the command posts from the brigade to the firing battery. The brigade automated command system consists of a total of 17 command and staff vehicles MP32M1 (12 x fire battery, 3 x section, 1 x brigade commander, 1 x brigade chief of staff). Each vehicle has 4 workstations. The ASV also includes a simulator, a set of spare parts and documentation.

ASV provides reception, processing, archiving, display and sending:
- information on the position, tasks and combat capabilities of the subordinate units,
- information from research facilities (superiors/collaborative units and alliances) on identified objectives,
- commands for subordinate units,
- information for the needs of superiors/collaborative units and alliances.

Hardware and software enables a wide range of tasks, including the analysis of special operational-tactical, computational and information tasks for the purposes of planning and conducting combat.

Each MP32M1 vehicle has 4 workstations (4 x operator) and a total of 8 channels for receiving/sending digital information at a speed of 0.1; 1.2; 2.4; 16.0 kbit/s. In addition, it has 6 channels for conducting radio communications to a distance of up to 60 km (VHF) or up to 300 km (HF).

The workplace can be unrolled within 8 minutes and rolled up within 5 minutes. The accuracy of information processing is up to 20 m and allows 48 hours of continuous operation.
