Formed 2.1.43 in Morosovskaja, when VIII. Fliegerkorps was removed from ground support operations and used for tactical air supply command. Flieger-Division Donez took over its previous close-air support (close-air support) activities.


HQ at Morosovskaya, later Tazinskaya. Subordinated to ObdL, and from 2.43 IV. Fliegerkorps.
