Straubeho armádní oddíl [1945-1945]

Army Detachment Straube
Armee-Abteilung Straube
Tessa this command does not know (or in the overall report, not even under the appropriate letter "S", even at 1. airborne army). Even in the general's biography at the Axis Biographical Research is nothing like that mentioned. On the internet unit Straubeho the name appears sporadically, and if so, how as an army group, even as the army section.

Probably the most reliable source, that the existence of the unit states, is Stacey official history of the Canadian army in the second world war. In it is in the context of the negotiations about the surrender between general Straubem and commander of the II. the canadian corps of general Simondsem stated that the German command hastily constructed Straubeho army section. Unfortunately, it is not specified, on what basis was this command set up. On the internet it is claimed that it should be the name for 1. airborne division. More information I unfortunately failed to get.
