Dr. Karol Büchler was born 23.03.1912 in the Kremničke (today súčasť town Banská Bystrica)to a jewish family. After the formation of the 1. the czechoslovak mixed air division Karol Büchlera odoslali to Přemyšlu on funkciu šéflekára. With divíziou sa in may 1945 got to Czechoslovakia.
After the end of the war sa I decided zostať in the army. The first októbra 1945 nastúpil ako špecialista on röntgenové oddelenie pražskej Military hospital 1, where pôsobil to marca 1950. During this obdobia sa stihol oženiť and promoted him up to the hodnosť of lieutenant colonel. Koncom year 1950 has taken over funkciu chief röngenologického oddelenia in the 5. okruhovej hospital in the Castle. To the rank of colonel promoted him 13.07.1954. After his žiadosti o preloženie him in novembri 1956 preložili on funkciu chief röntgenologického oddelenia in the Posádkovej hospital Bratislava. In the backup odišiel to 30.11.1969. Zomrel in Bratislave 11.03.2007.
