15 cm howitzer K2 system a Shame for Romania

A brief history of the
At the beginning of the thirties developed a Skoda export howitzer To a nominal calibre of 15 cm. Version K1 was developed for the Turkey, variant K1 Beta for Iran and the model of the K2 was designed for the allied army Jihoslávie and Romania.

Under the factory designation K2 was in the years 1934-1939 delivered to Romania 184 pieces in a version for mototrakci. Currently not aware of additional information about the service in the Romanian army, but according to old-timers, this was a very accurate weapon. Howitzers that survived the DSV passed the modernization of the chassis and reportedly used until the sixties. Then be followed by their reassignment to the advances of the Romanian army. One of the witnesses, however, claimed that in 1988 he participated in sharp shooting with houfnicemi md. 1934 at the artillery base near the town of Cincu.

A brief history of the
At the beginning of the thirties developed a Skoda export howitzer To a nominal caliber of 15 cm, supplied in the execution of K1 in Turkey, K1 Beta to Iran and K2 to Jihoslávie and Rumunska.

Under the factory designation K2 was in 1938 delivered Jihoslávii 48 pieces in a version for mototrakci. Currently not aware of additional information about the service in Jihoslávské the royal army.
