wz.1932

This mortar was supplied by Škoda's plants to the Polish army. The Poles bought these mortars in response to the light and medium fortifications that the Germans were building along the Polish border. Due to design changes (66 changes) and the economic crisis, the first 27 mortars were not delivered until 1933. The interesting thing about the whole contract is that the Polish side paid for it with coal. The dust was supplied by the Pardubice company Explosia and Selier-Bellot cartridges. The last mortars were delivered in 1935. During the movements, the mortar was transported by three divisions. The first carried a barrel with a breech, the second a carriage with a cradle and a reciprocating device, the third section carried a base plate (subsoil).

In Poland, mortars were used by 1 heavy artillery regiment. At the beginning, 6 Polski Fiat 621 trucks were used to transport ammunition and mortars. Later, they received 3 artillery tractors of the type C7P. Unfortunately, in 1939, these mortars no longer represented a greater combat value, mainly due to the low supply of ammunition. 75 artillery shells per mortar and long mortar assembly times, according to the instructions should last up to 5.5 hours! Therefore, the mortars were transferred to the so-called army "Prussia", where they had already reached. 18 mortars were mobilized, of which 11 participated on September 22-23. 1939 Battle of Tomasz Lublin. After firing ammunition and encircling, the mortars were destroyed by their own staff. 2 mortars during transport without a single shot fell into the hands of the Soviet army.

The German army used cannons in coastal batteries in Norway under the designation 22.0 cm Morser 538 (p).
They were used with the following batteries:
1. Battery 47/977 Heeresküstenbatterie in Kroken (3pcs 22 cm Mrs. (p) in 1941)
2. Battery 47/977 Heeresküstenbatterie in Hetlefloten (3pcs 22 cm Mrs. (p) in 1941)
3. Battery 6/975 Heeresküstenbatterie v Klinga (3 pcs 22 cm Mrs. (p) 1941-42)
4. Battery 4/974 Heeresküstenbatterie v Reitan (3 pcs 22 cm Mrs. (p) 1941 - 42)
