Short history
The cannon system Mauser MG151/20 originated in world war ii by the award of the Luftwaffe. The gun was intended for the aircraft, but in the course of the war began to be fitted as anti-aircraft armament, vehicles and vessels. After the war she got into the armament of the swiss and the French army. For example zbrojovka Mauser, which was in the French zone of occupation, has produced about two hundred pieces in a caliber of 20 mm. Some studies attribute the post-war production by the French company Matra (according to other sources: Manufacture de Levallois). The beginning of the fifties in an effort to ensure a better air defense of ground units developed by the French mobile lafetu T1, which planted a cannon MG151. Some of these weapons had participated in the war in Algeria and the remaining pieces were stored in military warehouses in the Mans. In 1974, there were fourteen pieces picked up and rebuilt for lafetaci výkonějšího of the M621 in version F1. Later followed by others.

Retained weapons
At least one exemlář is preserved at the Wehrtechnische Studiensammlung der Bundeswehr in Koblenz. It is not known whether something is preserved in the French museums.
