Rozhodnutie o reorganizácii delostrelectva fell 30.03.1814, when the U.S. Congress adopted the statutory uznenesnie, on the basis of one sa mali all 3 delostrelecké regiments zlúčiť into one corps členeného to 12 oddielov (pretty 48 rôt). Neskôr bola decided on znížení total počtov delostrelectva - 17.05.1815 bolo decided on znížení the total number of oddielov to 8, and subsequently (in 1816) to 4 (32 rôt).

Technically months the corps have existed as a zväzok, but, really, wasn't menovaný žiaden veliteľ and was not created or a crew. Zbor bol len združením separate oddielov (rôt), ktoré boli from the year of 1815/1816 podriaďované veliteľom zväzkov.
