De Havilland Mosquito NF Mk. 30 (kód VY-Y, sériové číslo neznámé), na němž na podzim 1944 létal u 85. perutě Sqdn. Ldr. (major) Branse A. Burbridge, nejúspěšnější spojenecký noční stíhač, eso s 21 sestřely. Na tomto stroji v noci 5. 11. 1944 sestřelil čtyři nepřátelské stroje (2 x Ju 88, Ju 188, Me 110). Letoun nese nátěr střední mořskou šedou na všech plochách, na horních a bočních plochách doplněný nepravidelnými poli tmavé zelené. Published with authors permit
De Havilland Mosquito NF Mk.30 (the serial number of the RAF RK952, the serial number of the belgian air force MB24, code ND-N) made its first take-off 22.5.1945. He was then moved to the workshop unit 218 HIM where it was in his guts installed specific equipment version of the NF Mk.30 (radar, electronics,...). Due to the termination of the war was not included in the equipment of the operating department, but instead was stored at 10 MU. This aircraft became one of the 24 machines version of the Mosquito NF Mk.30, which at the end of the forties bought the belgian air force. These machines have received serial numbers in the margin of MB1 to MB24. The first four aircraft were delivered in November 1947 and the service have been included in may 1948. Displayed the Mosquito was purchased in October 1951, and after the revision in the Fairey Aviation was to Belgium delivered in September 1953. MB24 then flew in the ranks of the 10. the squadron of the child 1. the wing at the base of Beauvechain. Of the weaponry was eliminated in October 1956 (the last years he graduated 18.8.1955), after which in march 1957 he journeyed to the military museum in Brussels, where it is exhibited until these days.
