Ako zverejnila agentúra REUTER, dnes havaroval vrtuľník bangladéšskej armády. Podľa informácie polície vrtuľník havaroval v meste Tangail, asi 100 km od hlavného mesta Dakka. V kokpite zahynuli podplk. S.Islam, ktorý stroj pilotoval, na mieste kopilota zahynul gen. mjr. R. Islam.
V dopravnom priestore bol tretí príslušník s hodnosťou majora, utrpel ťažké zranenia a bol urýchlene hospitalizovaný.
