Jednalo se o operační skupinu bezpečnostní policie a SD, která se pod velením SS-Standartenführera Franze Sixe zúčastnila anšlusu Rakouska v březnu 1938.


Jednotka byla pověřena zvláštními úkoly, mezi něž patřilo zatýkání a vraždy protivníků nacistického režimu či zajišťováním důležitých dokumentů. Oddíl rovněž zajistil říšské klenoty.


Oddíl byl složen z cca 40 až 60 příslušníků Sipo a SD z Berlína.
