FBA Type D Cannon
The French were the first who believed in the value of the fighter aircraft armed with cannon. Between them they belonged to types Breguet In, VI and XII and also Voisin Voi.4, which accounted for the class D. The specifications of this class required an aircraft capable of a maximum speed of 125 km/h and the output to 2000 m in 14 minutes, a variant specification for the fight with the airships should have a maximum speed of 120 km/h and up to 2000 m should get in 17 minutes. All these aircraft were of frame construction, with a pusher engine mounted at the rear of the ttrupové gondolas and pohiblivým cannon Hotchkiss in the bow. Louis Schreck was also part of the design kanonové fighters, went on, however, a completely different way. For this purpose he used a flying boat FBA type H the serial number 101.
