Parachute steel helmets Model 38
From the helmet vz.36 differs in several details:
- the helmet has no ventilation holes or rectangular cutouts
- the inner hoop is fastened with four two-piece threads
- the inside has a completely different shape - it is made of one piece of leather, ventilated by circular holes. It was made of sheep's, from March 19, 1940 also pork (pork) skin.
- It is lined with seven rubber cushions around the perimeter and one top.
They were manufactured by Eisen- und Huttenwerke Thale AG
It was produced in sizes 66, 68 and 71.
