The banner was created to 1. December 1808 reorganisation divizionu field hunters no 1. The battalion consisted of six field companies and one depot company.

In 1809 the battalion was included in the advance brigade Hardeggovi, which was part of 1. ward Bellegardova. He was deployed in the army in Germany. The battalion had the battle of Ursensollenu, the conquest of Berschingu, the battle of Aspern, where the regiment performed very well, on the battle of Wagram, and the retreat to Moravia.

After the end of the field campaign of 1809 the battalion was reorganized back to the battalion.
