Vysielač T1083 spolupracoval s prijímačmi R1082 a R1084. Konštrukcia z roku 1930 bola zastaralá, preto od roku 1940 boli tieto súpravy nahrádzané postupne súpravami R1155 a T1154. Vysielač bol dvojstupňový, dvojelektrónkový. Pre zmenu rozsahu bolo nutné vymeniť cievkové súpravy oscilátora a koncového stupňa.
