  • Combat Yak-1

    The combat version of the Yakovlev Yak-1 aircraft is not a separate version and does not bear any special designation. This modification belongs to a large family of the first Jak-1 aircraft, which were produced with various modifications, but without further distinction. It can be said that it was another modification (development stage) of the serial machine Jak-1. Because in this case there were no significant interventions in the design of the aircraft, this modification was not conducted as a new version of this fighter.

  • Battle of the Yalu River (1904)

    The Battle of the Yalu River ran from April 27 to May 1, 1904. It was the first major military engagement in the Russo-Japanese War on the mainland. Already this first battle convinced the Russians that the Japanese were by no means underestimated. It refuted not only the Russians' idea of a short war, but also their tactical and qualitative superiority over Japan.
