The designation GS1000 is basically an abbreviation of the full name Ground Smarter 1000, which can be freely translated into Czech as "Ground Smart".
RLS GS1000 is a multifunctional radar designed for ballistic missile defense system.
RLS GS1000 is a radar built on M3R development technology using SR3D architecture, which was developed for the latest series of land and marine radar stations (GM400, SM400, ...).
RLS GS1000 can be part of the PVO/PRO system SAMP/T , as well as a sensor in the integrated SVRN.
Key features of RLS SVRN GS1000:
- digital radar beam forming
- the properties comply with the ecological restrictions and regulations of the European Union standards (energy consumption, own use, production and negative radiation and impact on the environment)
- detection of ballistic missiles at distances of 1000 km and more
- tracking ballistic missiles up to a position angle of 85 °
- A minimum number of operators is required for the actual operation and the implementation of planned and extraordinary maintenance
