Alexei Mikhailovich ISAYEV (* October 24, 1908 St. Petersburg, + June 25, 1971, Moscow) was a Soviet engineer, engine designer.
He was the author of a rocket engine for liquid fuels with a closed cycle and co-author of the aircraft BI-1
Under his leadership, rocket engines were developed for the Soyuz, Bostok, Voschod spacecraft, the Salyut orbital station, the interplanetary spacecraft Luna, Mars, Venus, Zond, Molnija, Poljot and Kosmoc.
