Išikawadžima T-3[/heading]

The design team of the company Išikawadžima came in 1927 to the reconstruction of the original experimental reconnaissance aircraft Išikawadžima T-2. It was necessary to remove several of the key shortcomings of earlier wooden construction T-2. The designers have designed a completely new airframe welded from steel tubes, the design was similar to the Dutch Fokker C. In. To the design of the wings and tail surfaces were used aluminum and their surface was covered with a cloth. The result was a much more durable plane than was the original T-2. The locality is Išikawadžima T-3 similar to the second prototype T-2.
Only made a prototype Išikawadžima T-3 was handed over to the army air force to participate in the competition with three other competitors. The winner of the competition was declared the prototype of Kawasaki KDA-2 (later adopted as a reconnaissance aircraft Type 88). Mitsubishi Tobi - was badly damaged after an emergency landing and also Nakajima N-35, was almost destroyed during emergency landing after engine overheating.
Reconnaissance aircraft Išikawadžima T-3 had no hope for military use, therefore, the company Išikawadžima recover the aircraft from the army air force, the aircraft was demilitarizován and in 1932 sold to the civilian sector - diligent supporters of aviation - print group the Asahi Shimbun with the civilian registration J-BBCA, here he flew up to the year 1939.

If we letotoun Išikawadžima T-3, it was another failure of society
the aircraft was a failure in its intended role, but the company has gained a lot of experience from him in the manufacture of metal dragons for future use.
