De Havilland D.H.98 Mosquito NF Mk.XIX was an upgraded version of the aircraft the Mosquito NF Mk.XIII, which was for the needs of night operations at low altitudes over Germany, the original radar AI.Mk.VII is replaced by a new more powerful radar AI.Mk.X (license, originally the american radar SCR-720 with a parabolic antenna, the aircraft was usually equipped with universal saving and radomem for both types of radars), and the aircraft was equipped with engines Rolls Royce Merlin XXV with a lower výškovostí (maximum výkonnů, the aircraft was able to a height of 4500 metres). First flight of the modernized aircraft was carried out in April 1944, and serial production began about a month later. First victory of the aircraft Mosquito NF Mk.XIX is dated at 3.July 1944. The standard version of the Mk.XIX was modernized also a few older aircraft version of the Mk.XIII.
