Experimental liquid-cooled twelve-cylinder piston engine with V cylinders. It was a VK-107 engine redesigned in the V design office.J.Klimov (ОКБ В.Я.Климова) with power increased up to 1380 kW (1850 hp).
It was experimentally fitted to the Yakovlev Yak-3 fighter aircraft, which managed to achieve a higher top speed with it than with the VK-107. Nevertheless, it was not mass-produced.
