This model was created by conversion of model by ITALERI - D U K W and resin set by Panzershop.
Even the real vehicle ZiL - 485 BAV was based on the American amphibian DUK W. After the end of the war, during which this vehicle was delivered under the Leand - Lease agreement from the USA to Sov. union, has been structurally modified. The hull was mounted first on a chassis with a ZiL - 151 engine and later on a ZiL - 157. The main difference is in the use of the hull, while the Americans used it to transport goods from ships to the mainland, the Russians extended ramp "towed" vehicles or other equipment. In ČSLA, various types of cannons were transported on the hull - 30 mm pldvk vz. 53, 122 mm howitzer vz. 38 etc. Furthermore, the vehicle was used to transport infantry.
Na korbe je položený model MMK Gaz - 69 A.
Na prvý pohľad je zrejmý rozdiel vo využití úžitkovéhjo priestoru korby, iné kolesá, naviják za priestorom vodiča a pod.
