In 1993, VOP 026 Štenberk designed a new type of OT-93 from the OT-64 SKOT chassis and with the main change - the installation of a higher base prism in the middle of the hull on which the swivel turret from the cancelled OT-62 TOPAS is placed. The latter has a UK-59T light machine gun mount and T-21 82 mm calibre tracer mount.

In the order of a second foreign user of these vehicles the army has become the south american state of Uruguay, which to your arsenal since September 1995 has introduced a total of 32 vehicles OT-93 (uruguayan designation M-93) and together with them and 28 transporters OT-64 (M-64).
According to the then plans should be the vehicles introduced into the armament of the following departments:

The uruguayan website the most commonly reported this vehicle as: Transportes Blindados Anfibios M93. On one of them I met with the concept: M93B.
So I ask, does anyone know the version of OT-93B?
