He joined the Navy in 1938 and underwent pilot training, which he completed in 1941. He was then assigned to the Air Force of the Black Sea Fleet and after the Netherlands. The German attack took part in the defense of Sevastopol. In December 1941, he was deposed and wounded.
In the summer & # 283; In 1942 he fought over the Caucasus, but was re-elected. In the year 1944, 1944 served at 30. RAP - & # 268; F where he became commander of the 3rd Squadron. By June 1944, he had completed 417 combat years. and won six sixths.
