The return of the legionaries of Markvartic
To the right of legionaries lasted just a year. 30 ships were brought from Siberia 45 000 legionaries, officers of the team. 4 460 citizens, 1 650 women, 58 children.
From our village came back like a legionnaire: captain Binka Francis of no. 28 born on 25. 8. 1887, to the legions entered in l914, he went back to his liberated homeland in April 1919; Flea Joseph, of no. 47, born 18. 2. 1892, to the legions entered in l9l8, he returned in August 1920; Nedved, Jan from no 73 born 20. 4. 1894, to the legions entered in 1918, he returned in August l920; Nedved Anton from no 13, born 27. 5. 1888, the legions entered in 1918, he returned in August 1920, Novotný, Stanislav from the no 37, born 14. 1. 1894, joined the legions of 1916, he returned in August 1920. The last four without the lot. The names of our legionnaires immortalized for all posterity on a memorial certificate hung is in the school building. Welcome!
Before these returned all the prisoners from Russia and Italy; prisoners of war from Russia listed are in the str. 39. From italy as the vigilantes of the captivity returned: Burian, Stanislav of no 43, a Flea Francis of no. 77, Smooth Shinny of no 72 and Nedved Jan from no 13.
