Brief history - developed - please moment patient.

The development of the ...
Russia ...
The legion and the BM Rčs ...

According to the preserved documents, from Siberia arrived 7 pieces of cannon, McClean. The czechoslovak military administration is to repossess the equipment and for their designation of the most commonly used two names:
- poruštělý garbled name: cannon Maklina
- or garbled american naming: Mclean

I assume that the guns McClean in the twenties were used for training and then was transferred to the "backup". The five-piece have kept VS in their deposits, and the two pieces were brought into the collections of the newly formed Memorial the liberation of the Zizkov district.

In 1938 the national defence power of the Rčs used 5 of the works of McClean to the brazilian company of accompanying weapons for hraničářského battalion no. 50. Guns should be used until the disposal of the american ammunition. Then should be replaced with more modern. Hraničářský battalion no 50 originated 15. July 1938 in Bratislava and was intended to fight in a fortified space Petržalky. The further fate of these five guns is not known.

Equally interesting fate befell the exhibits of the Memorial to the liberation. They both weathered the war unscathed in the deposits, the Germans closed the museum, and after the war became part of the collections of the military museum. Currently, the Military historic institute own only one incomplete piece - exhibit no 5791. On the second the gun claims that it was in an unspecified year and scrapped.
