Medaile je ražena z patinovaného bronzu o průměru 36,5 mm. Na líci je při dolním okraji ve 4 hodiny uvedeno jméno výtvarníka PAUL WISSAERT. Existuje několik výrobních variant. Medaili udělovalo ministerstvo národní obrany, na obrázku je udělovací doklad.
