The landing ship Mitrofan Moskalenko (according to the Russian classification Large Landing Ship - Большой десантный корабль) was handed over for disposal in November 2019, which was carried out by the company on 10. Ship Repair Plant (10 судоремонтный завод) in cooperation with the company Feniks (other sources claim that the liquidation was to be carried out by the company 35th Ship Repair Plant) in the closed area of Alexandrovsk (Murmansk Region). A fire broke out on the deck of the dismantled ship on the morning of 07.12.2020, which was extinguished later that day. There were no injuries to persons in the fire.
