Mongolian expansion [1206-1260]
In this work, I present a picture of the history of Russia since the defeat of Russian troops at Kalka, which the Russians came under Mongol rule for more than 2 centuries, and which Russia in the form of fragmented statesmen could not face. Once again, it is necessary to point out the validity of the motto Virtus Unita Fortior, ie there is strength in Unity, and only the gradual unification of Russian territories led to the final break-out from the yoke of the Golden Horde.
The 13th century is one of the most turbulent periods in the history of Hungary. Undoubtedly a significant event was the Tatar invasion of 1241. You will find out how this invasion affected the life of Hungarian society in the following article.
