History / History
Squadron was formed on 1. April 1938 as Well. 10 (Torpedo Bomber) Squadron, but probably only "on paper". 3. September 1939 she was raised in Halifax and was transformed into a maritime hlídkouvou unit. Up to the end of the war was primarily carried out anti-submarine patrols over the north Atlantic. Take 22 attacks on submarines and she was awarded the sinking of the German submarine U-520 (30.10.1942),
U-341 (19.09.1943) and U-420 (26.10.1943). With the end of the war is 13. August 1945 disbanded.
