The unit was formed 3. June 1942 on the base of the Lethbridge (Alberta) as a fighter, and until its dissolution 10. September 1945, at the base of the Patricia Bay ensure the air defense of the western coast of Canada. Her pilots destroyed 2 japanese incendiary balloons.
