history
May 10, 1918 - is formed at the base of Padstow by merging several separate squadrons (No. 494, 500, 501, 502 and 503) and until the end of the war continues anti-submarine patrols in the Bristol Channel area
31.05.1919 - dissolved
April 1, 1941 - restored at the base of Aqir and provides air defense of Palestine and Syria
June 13, 1941 - moves to the area of the Western Desert in Egypt and Libya and carries out mostly attacks on ground targets
July 9, 1943 - after the end of the fighting in North Africa, he moved to Malta, from where he attacked targets in Sicily and then until the end of the war in Italy, where he remained in the post-war period as part of the occupying forces
12/30/1946 - dissolved
