history
Arises 18.8.1918 at the base of the Dundee merger of several separate squadrons (no. 318 and 319) and up to the end of the war continues in the anti-submarine patrols over the North sea. 30.06.1919 is dissolved.
Restored 17.05.1940 at the base of Hendon as a fighter, participating in the Battle of Britain and then plugs into the breakaways over the continent, and is also a night fighter patrols. After the overkill of the machine Typhoon operates initially as part of the air defense, later the main focus of activities become attacks on ground targets in occupied Europe, in which it continues until its dissolution before the end of the war, after the landings in Normandy (operation Overlord) as part of the 2. TAF moved to France, and his war journey ends in the Netherlands. where is 5.3.1945 dissolved.
Restored 1.9.1946 at the base Church Fenton as a fighter and becomes part of the air defense. 31.3.1957 is dissolved.
Yet last restored 1.7.1960 at the base of Warboys as a unit of the air defense equipped with the missiles ground-to-air Bloodhound. 31.12.1963 is dissolved.
