Hello, I introduce myself, my name is Gianluca, I write from Casamassima, a small town near Bari, in Puglia, Italy. In Casamassima is the oldest Polish military cemetery where Polish soldiers are buried who died in Puglia between 1944 and 1946, from 6 years I searched for the 2nd Polish Corps in Puglia. Among the soldiers buried there are 2 bomber crews of 301 ° died while returning from missions in Poland, going to carry aid to the insurgents in Warsaw. The British Cemetery in Triggiano, another small town near Bari, I found the tomb of Edward Gagala. Can anyone give me some news of this airman? would be nice to put his story in my show "The Puglia region of Poland from 1944 to the 1946 ... a story in black and white" that expose every November 2 in Casamassima. Thanks to everyone who wants to help me. gianluca.vernole@yahoo.it.
