Excavation of the wreckage of the crashed aircraft Vickers Wellington B Mk.Ic serial number T2990 were completed on 17.06.2021. The work was ongoing from 25.05.2021 and was expected to end in the middle of July.

The crash site was carefully dredged, and the excavated soil was thoroughly washed. Thousands of small and large parts will be transferred to Woensdrecht Air Force Base of the Netherlands, where they will be examined.

The human remains found will be examined in detail in the specialized laboratory of the rescue and identification service of the Royal Dutch army (BIDKL) in the city of Soesterberg. Once the research is completed, the Dutch, British and Czech authorities will formally announce the identity of the remains found.

The found ammunition from the aircraft's onboard weapons will be destroyed by the Dutch Eodd (Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service) team in Soesterberg.

Hello. My great-uncle on behalf of Miroslav Šigut flew at 311. bombing as the commander of the aeroplane. Unfortunately, more information about it I don't know, but I'd like to get him something more learned. In any of the lists of the pilots of the RAF 311. BSQ I, however, failed to find. You do not have someone some information? I attach a photo.

Hi, I've run into a little confusion. Maybe someone can help.

Raid 10.9.1940, front gunner KX-R, F/L Ocelka:
A. P/O Student (Rajlich, In the sky...I)
B. P/O Ulehla (Pajer, Wings...)

In the more likely B, are the errata to Albion possibly available somewhere?
Thanks, R.
